JAMB Announces Adjusted Arrival Time for 2026 UTME First Session
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made a minor adjustment to the arrival time for candidates scheduled for the first session of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the official notice, candidates in the first session are now required to arrive at their examination centres by 7:00 AM (previously 6:30 AM). The examination will still commence at 8:30 AM and end at 10:30 AM.
This adjustment is intended to ensure a smoother and more efficient conduct of the examination across all centres nationwide.
Updated First Session Schedule
- Arrival Time: 7:00 AM (updated from 6:30 AM)
- Exam Start Time: 8:30 AM
- Exam End Time: 10:30 AM
No Need to Reprint Examination Slips
Candidates do not need to reprint their examination slips. The change affects only the arrival time — all other details on the existing slips remain valid.
