Lagos State University (LASU) hereby invites candidates of Lagos State origin who selected the University as their First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to participate in the Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

UTME Score: Minimum of 195.

Origin: Candidates must be verified indigenes of Lagos State.

Direct Entry: All Direct Entry applicants of Lagos State origin must also participate in this exercise.

Note: Clearance by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) is a prerequisite for admission consideration but does not guarantee admission.

3. SCREENING SCHEDULE
The verification exercise will be conducted in four phases:

Phase 1: Monday, 27th April – Thursday, 30th April 2026

Phase 3: Monday, 11th May – Thursday, 14th May 2026
