JUST NOW: JAMB FIXES JUNE 13TH, 2026 FOR UTME MOP-UP EXAMINATION
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced Saturday, 13th June, 2026 as the date for the conduct of the 2026 UTME Mop-Up Examination.
The mop-up examination is scheduled for candidates who:
Were successfully biometrically verified
Presented themselves for the 2026 UTME
But could not sit for the examination due to one issue or another
WHY THE MOP-UP EXAM IS BEING CONDUCTED
Recall that the 2026 UTME was conducted between 23rd and 29th April, 2026.
However, some CBT centres experienced technical issues which prevented several candidates from taking the examination successfully.
In addition:
Some candidates had their results withdrawn due to examination infractions
Some candidates who appeared for the exam could not be biometrically verified
All affected candidates have now been scheduled for the mop-up examination.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CANDIDATES
Printing of Examination Notification Slips begins on:
Saturday, 6th June, 2026
Candidates are advised to:
Print their examination slips early
Confirm their examination centres and schedules
Make proper transportation and logistical arrangements ahead of the examination date
IMPORTANT:
This mop-up examination is the FINAL PHASE of the 2026 UTME exercise.
JAMB has stated clearly that there will be NO FURTHER OPPORTUNITY for any candidate to sit for the 2026 UTME after this exercise.
