The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated its Conversion and Institutional Correction Services. This window provides eligible candidates with a vital opportunity to align their current academic qualifications with their tertiary admission objectives.
This service is specifically designed for:
-
UTME candidates who have recently acquired advanced qualifications qualifying them for Direct Entry (DE).
-
Existing Direct Entry applicants who wish to modify their choice of institution.
1. UTME to Direct Entry (DE) Conversion
Candidates who initially registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) but have subsequently obtained advanced, approved qualifications can now upgrade their application status.
-
Eligible Qualifications: NCE, ND, HND, IJMB, JUPEB, or other JAMB-recognized advanced diplomas.
-
The Advantage: Successful conversion transitions your application from UTME to Direct Entry, allowing you to compete for direct admission into the 200 Level of your chosen degree programme.
-
Note: Admission is subject to meeting the specific institutional and departmental cut-off requirements of the receiving school.
