The Management of Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, hereby invites suitably qualified candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to apply for the online Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Eligibility Requirements

First Choice Candidates: Applicants who chose Plateau State Polytechnic as their first-choice institution and scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply.

Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose the Polytechnic but scored 100 or above are advised to visit any JAMB-approved CBT Centre or JAMB office to change their first-choice institution to Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi.

Academic Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB ordinary level examinations.
Crucial Notice: All applicants must ensure their O’Level results are fully uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal before they can be considered for admission.

Step-by-Step Post-UTME Registration Procedure

Create Profile: Visit the official registration portal at www.apply.plapolyportal.com. Click on “I want to make a fresh application, I have a JAMB Result” and fill out the bio-data form to create your user profile.

Generate Payment Invoice: The portal will automatically generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip featuring the Polytechnic Logo.

Make Payment: Proceed to pay the non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only. Payments can be processed via any commercial bank, USSD channels, Credit/Debit cards, or online mobile wallets.

Screening Timeline: The online registration and screening portal will be active from Monday, 13th July to Friday, 7th August, 2026.
