Eligibility & Entry Requirements
To secure admission into this highly flexible online cohort, candidates must meet the following benchmarks:

Academic Standing: A National Diploma (ND) at Lower Credit or above in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

Professional Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of post-ND Industrial Training (IT) experience.

O’Level Credentials: Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits—including English Language and Mathematics—obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NABTEC.

Awaiting Results: Candidates currently awaiting their final O’Level results are welcome to apply, but must upload their completed results to the JAMB portal prior to final submission.

Screening Note: International candidates are fully eligible but are not exempted from the mandatory screening exercise.
Important Institutional Notice (NYSC Status)
NYSC Status: Due to the flexible and non-residential nature of the E-learning track, ODFEL candidates are not eligible for regular NYSC mobilization. Upon successful graduation, you will be issued an official Certificate of Exclusion by the NYSC.
Seamless Step-by-Step Application Guide

JAMB Registration: Initiate your process by applying through the official JAMB portal for the 2026/2027 ODFEL HND admission.

Institutional Portal: Visit www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng, click on “New Application”, and select “Apply Now” to open your registration profile.

Process Payment: Pay the non-refundable registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) at any branch of our approved banking partners. Ensure the generated invoice and Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) receipt bear your name exactly as it appears on your credentials.

NITF Integration: Complete your mandatory registration on the NITF HND Admission Portal. This is a compulsory step for all applicants.

Submit Transcripts: Arrange for your ND-awarding institution to send your official academic transcript under confidential cover, sealed and addressed directly to the Registrar.

Note: If you are not a graduate of The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, your transcript must be received by the institution before your online application form can be successfully finalized and submitted.
