Eligibility & Entry Requirements
To secure your admission into the HND Weekend Programme, you must fulfill the following benchmarks:

National Diploma (ND) Standing: A minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA of 2.50 or above) in a discipline directly related to your chosen program.

Note: Applicants with an ND Pass must possess a minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification Industrial Training experience.

O’Level Credits: Five relevant SSCE credits (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) aligned with your department’s specific prerequisites.

Industrial Training (IT): A mandatory minimum of one calendar year of continuous, relevant post-ND work experience.

Screening Performance: Success in the upcoming Computer-Based entrance examination.

NIIT Registration: It is mandatory for all HND applicants to formally register on the NIIT (HND Admission) Portal.

Academic Transcripts: If you graduated from an institution other than The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, you must arrange for your ND-awarding school to send your official academic transcript directly to our Registrar under Confidential Cover.

Crucial Policy: Candidates whose transcripts have not been successfully received will not be cleared for final registration.

Important Institutional Notice (NYSC Status)
⚠️ NYSC Exclusion: Please note that graduates of the HND Weekend Programme are not eligible to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization. Upon graduation, you will be issued an official Certificate of Exclusion by the NYSC.

Generate Invoice: Enter your personal bio-data exactly as it appears on your official JAMB records to automatically generate your program invoice.

Process Payment: Visit any branch of our designated banking partners with your printed invoice to pay and obtain your unique Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

Complete Registration: Return to the portal, click “Fill Application Form”, log in with your RRR number, carefully fill out all fields, and submit.
