Academic Eligibility & Requirements
National Diploma / 100-Level Candidates

UTME Cut-off Mark: A minimum score of 195 in the 2026 UTME.

Institutional Choice: LASUSTECH must be selected as the First Choice institution.

O’Level Standard: Minimum

of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Must possess a valid 2026 JAMB Direct Entry form.

Must have chosen LASUSTECH as their First Choice institution.

Participation in this online screening process is mandatory to remain eligible for consideration.
Lagos State Indigenes (SOVE Mandatory)

Candidates claiming Lagos State origin (both 100-Level and Direct Entry) must undergo and successfully pass the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE).

Important Notice: Clearance by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) strictly verifies indigene status and does not serve as a guarantee of automatic admission.
Mandatory SOVE Timeline
For candidates who must verify their Lagos State indigenship, the exercise follows the schedule below:

SOVE Registration Window: Wednesday, 20th May 2026 – Friday, 12th June 2026.

Physical Verification Interview: Wednesday, 17th June 2026 – Friday, 19th June 2026.

General Directives for Candidates

Virtual Screening Process: The Post-UTME screening exercise is strictly online. No physical presence is required on the university campus for the main screening.

JAMB CAPS Upload: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are properly uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Un-uploaded results will lead to automatic disqualification.

Course Requirements: Applicants must independently verify that their O’Level subjects match the specific prerequisites for their chosen course via the LASUSTECH Course Requirements Portal before initiating payments.

Screening Fee: Remit a non-refundable screening payment of ₦10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) via the official web portal at admission.lasustech.edu.ng.
