The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform the general public and all registered candidates that full preparations have been concluded for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scheduled to hold from Thursday, 16th April to Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026.
Over 2.2 million candidates are expected to sit for the examination across 966 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. Following a thorough review of the recent Mock UTME, 23 centres have been delisted due to substandard performance, ensuring only facilities capable of delivering a seamless and credible exercise are utilized.
Candidates who are yet to print their Examination Notification Slips are strongly advised to do so immediately via the official JAMB portal.
The slip contains essential details including your specific examination date, time, and venue, which are mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
In line with JAMB’s commitment to equity and inclusivity, special arrangements have been made through the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG) to provide necessary support for candidates living with disabilities.
The Board reiterates its zero-tolerance policy towards examination malpractice. Strict security measures will be enforced, and appropriate sanctions will be applied to any candidate found in possession of prohibited items or engaging in any form of misconduct.
All candidates are encouraged to adhere strictly to the published guidelines, arrive at their centres early, and prepare diligently for a hitch-free and successful examination.
