The Management of the Federal College of Education, Okene, in collaboration with Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, is delighted to announce the official commencement of admissions into the 2026 Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (B.Sc. Ed., B.Ed., and B.A. Ed.).

Available Academic Programmes
The degree programmes are thoughtfully categorized into four major areas of study. Candidates are advised to choose courses that align with their NCE background, O’Level results, and career aspirations:
B.Sc. (Ed.) – Science & Vocational Education Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, Health Education, Human Kinetics & Health Education, and Library & Information Science.
B.Ed. – Foundational & Basic Education Guidance & Counselling, Educational Management, Adult & Non-Formal Education, Social Studies, Basic Science, and Early Childhood Education.
B.Sc. (Ed.) – Social & Management Sciences Accounting, Economics, Business Education, Geography, and Political Science.
B.A. (Ed.) – Arts & Humanities English, French, History, Yoruba, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic Studies, Music, and Fine & Applied Arts.
Admission Requirements
The programme offers flexible entry pathways depending on the candidate’s qualifications:
4-Year Programme (for NCE Holders – Direct Entry)
- Minimum of Credit or Merit passes in at least two (2) major NCE teaching subjects.
- Five (5) credits at O’Level (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
5-Year Programme (for O’Level / OND Holders)
- Minimum of five (5) credits at O’Level (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates with NCE or OND may also apply under this category, subject to their O’Level performance.
Specific Subject Requirements
- Credit in Mathematics is compulsory for all Science-based programmes.
- Credit in Literature in English is required for English Education.
- Credit in Chemistry is mandatory for Agricultural Science.
Application Procedure and Fees
The application process is fully online, with a subsequent physical documentation stage:

After successful online registration, candidates are required to pay a Documentation Fee of ₦2,500 when submitting printed copies of their credentials at the college.
