IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM JAMB
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who are already admitted into any tertiary institution will not be eligible to participate in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) unless they provide official evidence of withdrawal from the institution.
If you are currently in any university, polytechnic, college of education, or other tertiary institution, and you plan to write UTME again this year, please read carefully.
JAMB has officially stated that:
1. You cannot run two admissions or two schools at the same time.
2. You will not be allowed to participate in the current admission process unless you first withdraw from your present school.

This means:
If you are already admitted or studying somewhere and you want to change school or course through UTME, you must:
Formally withdraw from your current institution, and
Obtain an official proof of withdrawal, which will be required during the admission process.
Without this, JAMB will disqualify your admission, even if you score high.
JAMB is advising students and parents to check their admission status early and take the right steps now to avoid stories that touch later.
