Earlier lasr month, the University of Ilorin issued a fresh reminder to all staff and students regarding the timeline for the end of the 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester.
In a memo signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola, the university reiterated the need for full compliance with the approved academic calendar as the semester draws to a close.
Key highlights include:
1. Lectures for the Harmattan Semester will officially end on Friday, 16th January 2026, but all departments are expected to finish their lectures on or before Friday, 9th January 2026.
2. The university portal will be open for uploading Continuous Assessment (CA) and other approved results from Monday, 19th January to Friday, 23rd January 2026.
3. 19th–23rd January 2026 has been designated as a Lecture-Free Week, strictly for CA uploads and other academic submissions. No lectures should take place during this period.
4. Harmattan Semester examinations will commence on Monday, 26th January 2026, and continue until Friday, 13th February 2026.
All staff and students are advised to take note of these dates and adhere accordingly.
