This extension is designed to give prospective candidates—particularly those experiencing registration delays, awaiting O’Level results, or effecting institutional changes on JAMB CAPS—adequate time to complete and submit their applications.
Important Extension Details & Guidelines
New Application Deadline: Prospective applicants are urged to complete their online registration on or before the new official closing date. (Candidates should log into the official portal to verify the exact extended closing date).
Minimum UTME Cut-off Mark: Candidates must have scored 160 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Institutional Preference: Candidates must choose UNILESA as their First Choice. Those who initially selected other institutions must apply for a Change of Institution on the official JAMB portal to enable admission processing.
O’Level Requirements: Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings. Verified O’Level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
Age Qualification: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to qualify for screening and admission into the institution.
