UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF 2026/2027 DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to inform all prospective candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public that the deadline for the online registration for the 2026/2027 Direct Entry (DE) Admission Exercise has been extended.
This extension has been granted to accommodate candidates who were unable to complete their registration within the initial timeframe, as well as those awaiting required academic credentials or undergoing verification with relevant examination bodies.

New Registration Deadline: Candidates are advised to complete all online registrations, document uploads, and payment processing immediately.
Eligible Candidates: Applicants who selected the University of Lagos as their First Choice in the 2026 Direct Entry JAMB registration and possess the minimum entry requirements.
Step-by-Step Registration Procedure
1. Access the Portal: Official Admissions Website.
Visit the official University of Lagos website at [unilag.edu.ng](https://unilag.edu.ng) and navigate to the Admissions section, or access the student portal directly at `applications.unilag.edu.ng`.
2. Log In with Credentials:
Click on Post-UTME / Direct Entry Application. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as the username and your Surname (in lowercase) as the password.
3. Generate Payment Advice:
Generate a Payment Advice and proceed to pay the non-refundable screening fee of **₦2,000** via Remita or online banking/card payment options provided on the portal.
4. Upload Required Documents:
Return to the portal post-payment to complete the application form. Upload clear, scanned copies of your O’Level results, A’Level certificates/ND/HND/NCE transcripts, JAMB Direct Entry slip, and birth certificate.
5. Review & Submit:
Carefully review all entries for accuracy. Submit the application form and print out a copy of the completed acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Important Guidelines & Compliance Rules
Awaiting Results: Candidates with pending qualifying results must ensure their records are updated on both the UNILAG application portal and the JAMB CAPS portal prior to the final close of registration.
Accuracy of Data: Any discrepancy in names, date of birth, state of origin, or examination details between your JAMB profile and qualifying certificates will lead to automatic disqualification.
Zero Tolerance for Fraud: Applicants who upload falsified certificates or fraudulent documents will be disqualified and handed over to relevant law enforcement agencies.
Strict Adherence: No further extension will be granted once this extended window elapses.
