The Management of Gombe State University (GSU) hereby informs the general public, prospective candidates, and parents that the deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME online screening registration has been extended.
According to a public notice issued by the Office of the Registrar on July 29, 2026, the registration period—which was originally scheduled to close on Friday, July 31, 2026—will now remain open until Monday, August 31, 2026.
This extension is designed to accommodate qualified applicants who encountered difficulties completing their application before the initial deadline.
Eligibility Criteria & Target Candidates
This window is open to all prospective applicants who meet the institutional cutoff marks and admission requirements for the 2026/2027 academic session but are yet to finalize their online screening profiles.

Minimum Age Requirement: In line with official policy, only candidates who will be at least 16 years of age on or before September 30, 2026, are eligible for admission. Candidates below this age threshold will not be considered.

Unchanged Guidelines: All existing eligibility criteria, UTME requirements, and registration procedures outlined in the original Post-UTME advertisement remain strictly in effect.
