The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), through the Admissions Unit, hereby issues a critical update to all prospective candidates regarding the upcoming 2026/2027 admission exercise.
As the selection process is scheduled to commence shortly, all eligible applicants are strongly urged to take immediate action to secure their eligibility and avoid total exclusion from admission consideration.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: JAMB CAPS UPLOAD
⚠️ CRITICAL ACTION REQUIRED: If you have not already done so, you must upload your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent) onto the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal as a matter of utmost urgency.
Key Points to Note:
-
Admission Commencement: The institutional admission matching system is being activated. Candidates who have not completely updated their profiles on JAMB CAPS will be automatically bypassed by the portal.
-
CBT Centre Upload: Result uploading must be completed through an accredited JAMB Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre or a JAMB professional office. Self-uploads or unverified inputs on third-party channels will not render on the official institutional dashboard.
-
Eligibility Framework: The processing of any temporary, provisional, or final admission list is strictly dependent on the availability of verified O’Level data on CAPS.
CONSEQUENCES OF NON-COMPLIANCE
Failure to comply with this directive promptly will attract severe administrative penalties:
-
Immediate Exclusion: Candidates without uploaded O’Level results will be marked as “Incomplete Profile” by JAMB and will not be considered for admission into any programme.
-
Irreversible Delays: The university will not be held responsible for missing profiles, automated rejections, or delays arising from a candidate’s failure to update their academic data on time.
The University Management encourages all prospective students to treat this notice with the highest level of priority to ensure a seamless and successful screening process.
