The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, hereby announces the commencement of online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission Screening Exercise.
Suitably qualified candidates who selected the University as their First Choice in the 2026 UTME, alongside Direct Entry applicants, are invited to complete their screening registration within the stipulated timeframe.
ELIGIBILITY & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Candidates
To qualify for the online screening exercise, UTME applicants must satisfy the following:

First-Choice Status: Must have chosen OOU as their First-Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.

Note: Candidates who did not initially choose OOU but wish to apply are eligible only after completing a Change of Institution to OOU as their First Choice on the JAMB portal.

UTME Cut-Off Mark: Must possess the minimum UTME score prescribed by the university for their chosen programme.

O’Level Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

Subject Combination: Must have sat for the correct UTME subject combination required for their proposed course of study.

Age Limit: Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.
2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must participate in the screening exercise and must possess one of the following recognized qualifications:

ND (National Diploma) | HND (Higher National Diploma)

NCE (National Certificate in Education)

IJMB | JUPEB
-
A-Level Certificates or equivalent qualifications verified by the university.
STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidates must complete their registration exclusively online through the official institutional portal:

Step 1: Visit the official OOU Admission Portal.

Step 2: Create an applicant profile using a valid email address and your 2026 JAMB Registration Number.

Step 3: Generate your payment invoice and pay the prescribed screening fee via the secure online payment gateway.

Step 4: Carefully complete the digital application form, ensuring your personal data and institutional choices are correct.

Step 5: Input your O’Level results exactly as they appear on your certificates and upload all required supportive credentials.

Step 6: Review all fields for data accuracy, submit the form, and print out your official UPASE Registration Slipfor future reference.
MANDATORY ADMISSION POLICIES
🔴 JAMB CAPS COMPLIANCE: All candidates must ensure their O’Level results are successfully uploaded onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) via an accredited CBT centre. Failure to upload your results on JAMB CAPS will halt your admission processing and render you ineligible for consideration.

Awaiting Results (AR): Candidates currently awaiting their O’Level results are eligible to apply. However, they must select “Awaiting Result” during registration and upload their grades to the OOU portal immediately upon official release.

Data Integrity Warning: Providing false information or uploading forged academic documents will result in automatic disqualification and potential prosecution.

Official Channels Only: The university strongly warns applicants against patronizing unauthorized admission agents. All official payments and registrations must be performed exclusively through the secure school portal.
