Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their First-Choice institution in the 2026 UTME, as well as those willing to execute a Change of Institution to UNIOSUN as their first choice.
🛑 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. UTME Cut-Off Marks

General Cut-Off: Candidates must score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.

Highly Competitive Programmes: Candidates must score a minimum of 200 for the following courses:

Law
-
Islamic Law
-
Nursing
-
Medicine and Surgery
-

Note: Applicants who selected any of these four highly competitive programmes but scored below 200 are strongly advised to perform a change of course to another suitable programme immediately.
2. Age Limit Policy

In line with the national admission policy, candidates who will not be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are ineligible for admission and should not apply.
📚 ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
O’Level Criteria

General Requirement: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics (where applicable).

Sittings Allowance:

Most Programmes: Maximum of two (2) sittings.

Medicine & Surgery, Nursing, Law, and Islamic Law: Must possess the five (5) credits in one (1) sitting only.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
-
Must participate fully in the screening exercise.

Must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in their previous qualifications (where applicable).

All DE applicants—including those from UNIOSUN’s internal IJMB and JUPEB programmes—must secure a JAMB DE form and apply through the university screening portal.

Transcript Submission: Official academic transcripts must be forwarded directly to the Registrar of Osun State University on or before Friday, September 4, 2026.

⚠️ MANDATORY ADMISSION POLICIES
🔴 JAMB CAPS COMPLIANCE: The 2026/2027 admission exercise will be strictly managed via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). It is mandatory for all candidates to upload their O’Level results onto the JAMB CAPS portal. Failure to upload will halt your admission processing.
đź“‹ CREDENTIAL VERIFICATION: Any applicant providing false information or forged documents will face immediate prosecution. Any admission granted based on fraudulent data will be withdrawn upon discovery without a refund of fees.

Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting their O’Level results are eligible to apply but must upload their results to the portal within one (1) week of release.

Screening Attendance: Participation in the screening exercise is compulsory. Any candidate who misses the screening will automatically forfeit admission consideration.

Compulsory Medical Examination: All successfully admitted students must undergo a comprehensive medical screening. This evaluation includes compulsory drug-use tests and other institutional health assessments.
