CORE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Foundational Qualification: A good honours Bachelor’s degree from a recognised and accredited university or institution is required for admission into Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s programmes.
- Supervisory Availability for Advanced Research: Candidates seeking admission into M.Phil. or Ph.D. programmes must confirm the availability of a qualified supervisor in their chosen department prior to submitting their application.
- Mandatory Documentation: All applicants are required to submit official academic transcripts from their previous institutions, as well as a valid NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate.
Important Ineligibility Notes:
- Candidates who are still awaiting their Bachelor’s degree results are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants currently enrolled in any other postgraduate programme are ineligible.
- Degrees obtained from outreach, satellite, or unapproved campuses will not be recognised for admission purposes.
