IMPLEMENTATION AND USE OF E-EXAMINATION DOCKET FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS HARMATTAN (FIRST) SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University hereby announces the *implementation and use of e-examination dockets for all full-time undergraduate students, with effect from the Harmattan (First) Semester Examinations of the 2025/2026 academic session*.
Members of the University community may recall that the e-examination docket system has been successfully deployed for SPTS and Sandwich Degree programmes over the past two academic sessions. Its extension to full-time undergraduate examinations is, therefore, a consolidation of an already tested and effective process.
*The introduction of the e-examination docket complements the University’s paperless initiative, which is scheduled to commence shortly.*
An e-docket provides a secure and transparent digital system for managing official records, with its greatest strength being the prevention of forgery and document manipulation. Each docket is uniquely generated, timestamped, and traceable, with all actions logged and attributable, making unauthorised alteration, backdating, duplication, or substitution of documents extremely difficult.
By eliminating manual handling and paper-based processes, the e-docket reduces opportunities for falsification, loss, or impersonation, while ensuring that only properly authenticated and endorsed records are accepted.
*The e-examination docket will be made available for download from Friday, 23rd January 2026*.
Each student is required to *download* the docket from the *registration portal* by clicking on *DOWNLOAD E-DOCKET* and *ensuring that it is duly endorsed by the appropriate level coordinator*.
Students are advised to note that only properly endorsed e-examination dockets shall grant access to all examination venues, including written examination halls and CBT centres.
*All Deans, Heads of Department, Examination Officers, Level Coordinators, invigilators, supervisors, students, and other relevant stakeholders are, therefore, enjoined to note this information and ensure compliance with all categories of examinations*.
