ABRAKA, DELTA STATE — The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, is pleased to announce the official publication of the First Batch Admission List for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into various undergraduate degree programmes following the successful conclusion of the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise.
All prospective students who participated in the screening exercise are strongly advised to check their admission status immediately on both the DELSU Admission Portal and the JAMB CAPS.
How to Check Your DELSU Admission Status
Follow these steps to check your admission standing:

Visit the Portal: Go to the official DELSU Admission Portal at www.delsu.edu.ng.

Login: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and required credentials in the provided fields.

Check Status: Click on “Check Admission Status” to access your result.
Mandatory Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
If your name appears on the admission list, you are required to complete the following administrative procedures promptly:

Accept Offer on JAMB CAPS: Log in to the JAMB e-Facility Portal and either ACCEPT or REJECT the admission offer on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Print Admission Letter: Once accepted on CAPS, print your official JAMB Admission Letter and Original Result Slip.

Pay Acceptance Fee: Proceed to the DELSU portal to pay the mandatory acceptance fee within the designated deadline to lock in your seat.

Prepare for Clearance: Gather all relevant credentials (O’Level results, JAMB result slip, birth certificate, state of origin certificate) in preparation for physical screening and department registration.
Important Note for Awaiting Candidates: Candidates whose portal status currently reads “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted” should remain patient. Additional admission lists (Second/Third Batches) will be uploaded incrementally as processing continues. Regularly monitor both the DELSU portal and JAMB CAPS for updates.
