The University of Abuja invites all eligible UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates to register for the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise. This registration is strictly for candidates who selected UNIABUJA as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.

Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the screening, candidates must satisfy the following requirements based on their application route:
1. UTME Candidates

Minimum UTME Score: 180 points.

O’Level Requirements: At least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.

Result Upload: O’Level results must be uploaded and verified on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Age Limit: Must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026.

Subject Combination: UTME subjects must align with the official course requirements for your selected program.
2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Accepted Qualifications: Recognized NCE, IJMB, ND, HND, or First Degree qualifications.

Ineligible Qualifications: JUPEB and NABTEB A’Level qualifications are not accepted for DE screening.

Verification & Upload: A’Level results must be uploaded on the JAMB portal and officially verified by your awarding institution.
Important Note on Course Changes: Any candidate intending to change their course must complete the change of course process on the JAMB portal before initiating their UNIABUJA screening registration.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
Follow these steps to complete your registration on the Official UNIABUJA Portal:

Access Portal: Go to the portal link and select “Here to Apply.”

Select Program: Click Undergraduate on the left menu panel.

Fetch Records: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Details.”

Bio-Data Input: Complete the basic profile page with a valid phone number and functional email address, then click “Next.”

Generate Remita RRR: Proceed to the payment section, click “Generate RRR,” and select “Submit” to redirect to the Remita gateway.

Complete Payment: Pay the ₦2,000 fee using your preferred card or bank option. Enter the OTP sent to your phone to validate the transaction.

Account Login: After successful payment, return to the main portal page and select “Main Login.”

Dashboard Access: Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username and your portal password.

Final Submission: Complete your profile details, upload required documents, review your entries carefully, and submit.

Print Confirmation: Save and print your completed registration slip and Remita payment receipt for physical verification.
