To secure your admission into Sokoto State University for the 2026/2027 academic session, all eligible UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates must ensure their O’Level results are properly uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Critical Warning: Your UTME score or qualifications alone will not guarantee admission. The University cannot process your application on JAMB CAPS if your O’Level results are missing.
Who Must Comply?
This notice applies to candidates who satisfy all of the following criteria:

First Choice: Selected Sokoto State University (SSU), Sokoto as your first-choice institution.

UTME Cut-Off: Scored 150 or above in the 2026 UTME OR applied as a Direct Entry (DE) candidate.

Academic Eligibility: Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes (including English Language, Mathematics, and 3 subjects relevant to your chosen course) obtained in no more than two sittings.

You may upload valid credentials from any of the following examination bodies:

Or any other recognized equivalent
How to Complete Your Upload

Visit an Accredited Center: Walk into any JAMB-accredited CBT Centre nationwide. (Note: O’Level uploads cannot be completed on regular mobile phones).

Submit Credentials: Present your original O’Level result slips/certificates for upload.

Verify Upload: Log into your personal JAMB CAPS profile to confirm that your subjects and grades are accurately reflected under the “My O’Level” section.
Action Required: Urgent
There is no physical screening submission required for this phase. However, candidates are strongly advised to complete the CAPS upload immediately to avoid processing delays or forfeiting their admission spot for the 2026/2027 session.
