The management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has officially released the Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Online registration commences on Friday, July 3, 2026.
⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: Unlike previous years, EKSU will not conduct a written Post-UTME examination for this cycle. Admission placement will be based entirely on the online screening of candidates’ UTME scores, O’Level results, and submitted credentials.
Eligibility Criteria
The screening portal is open to the following categories of candidates:
-
First-Choice Candidates: Those who selected EKSU as their institution of first choice in the 2026 UTME.
-
Change of Institution Candidates: Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME but did not initially choose EKSU. You are eligible provided you effect a Change of Institution to EKSU on the JAMB portal.
-
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: All qualified DE applicants seeking admission into undergraduate slots.
Note: Candidates with awaiting O’Level results are not eligible to apply until their results are officially released and uploaded.
Official Departmental Cut-Off Marks
Candidates who do not meet the departmental thresholds above are strongly advised to consider alternative courses for which they qualify.
General Admission Requirements
-
O’Level Credits: A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).

JAMB CAPS Alignment: Ensure all details provided match your JAMB profile exactly. You must also upload your O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal to secure admission consideration.
-
Early Registration: Candidates are advised to apply early to circumvent any deadline-day server congestion and leave room to correct potential errors.
The university management wishes all prospective scholars success in their application process!
What makes this version better:
-
The “Exam” Alert: Highlighting the shift to a 100% online screening method right at the top ensures students don’t spend money on exam preparatory materials.
-
Streamlined Cut-off Table: Rearranging the table by score priority (highest to lowest) looks significantly cleaner and reads much faster.
-
Visual Anchors: Highlighting specific quirks like the “RED background” passport photo prevents students from making easily avoidable registration mistakes.
