LASU Reopens 2026 Admission Screening Portal Following Temporary Closure
The Lagos State University (LASU) management has officially reopened the online portal for the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise. after the portal was closed on the 23RD June, 2026, at midnight. Prospective candidates and Direct Entry applicants who missed the initial deadline are strongly advised to seize this extended opportunity to complete their registration and upload the required credentials immediately. Also those applicants who made errors on their initial registration and would like to make amendments or change their course of study can make corrections.
The management of Lagos State University (LASU) has officially reopened the Online Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. This screening is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission into 100-Level (via UTME) and 200-Level (via Direct Entry).
The screening portal which was reactivated after LASU downloaded fresh data from JAMB yesterday noon June 29th 2026

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the screening, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:
Choice of Institution: Selected LASU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME.
UTME Cut-off Mark: A minimum score of 195 and above.
Age Limit: Must be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2026.
Target Groups: Open to standard UTME candidates, Those who recently made change of institutions to LASU.
Important Direct Entry Note:
LASU only accepts LASU Diploma qualifications for Direct Entry, with the sole exception of NCE holders applying to the Faculty of Education programmes.
Note: Candidates of Lagos State origin who completed the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) exercise will have their claims automatically validated during this online screening.
