_The Management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission Forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session._
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who seek admission into the University’s various undergraduate degree programmes.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
UTME CANDIDATES
• Candidates who selected COOU as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply.
• Candidates applying for the following professional courses must have scored a minimum of 200 in the 2026 UTME:
• Law
• Medicine
• Nursing Science
• Medical Laboratory Science
• Pharmaceutical Science
• Candidates applying for other programmes must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
Candidates who scored between 150 and 165 are advised to consider less competitive programmes where they have better admission prospects.
CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT CHOOSE COOU
• Candidates who did not initially choose COOU but meet the required cut-off mark can still apply after effecting a Change of Institution through any accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
DIRECT ENTRY (DE) CANDIDATES
• Candidates who selected COOU as their First Choice Institution through Direct Entry are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:
• NCE
• OND
• HND
• First Degree
• A-Level Certificates
• Direct Entry candidates must ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to:

Any transcript received after the screening deadline may not be considered for admission.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old on or before 30th September, 2026.
REGISTRATION TIMELINE
Registration Opens:
Monday, 8th June, 2026
Registration Closes:
Tuesday, 7th July, 2026
Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated period will not be considered for the admission screening exercise.
Prospective candidates are advised to complete their registration early and ensure that all required documents and credentials are properly uploaded to avoid disqualification.
