The Management of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, hereby invites all eligible UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates to participate in the online screening exercise for admission into regular undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Official UTME Cut-Off Mark: 150 and above
Eligibility Criteria
The screening exercise is open to the following categories of candidates:

First & Second Choice Applicants: Candidates who selected ABSU as their First or Second Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.

Change of Institution Applicants: Candidates who did not initially choose ABSU but are willing to make the university their preferred choice via a JAMB Change of Institution.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: All candidates applying through Direct Entry.

Academic Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, in line with the University’s specific department requirements.

Mandatory Participation: Candidates who fail to participate in this online Post-UTME screening exercise will notbe considered for admission under any circumstances.

JAMB Change of Institution: If ABSU was not your initial choice, you must process your Change of Institution on the JAMB portal before completing your ABSU screening registration.

Registration Accuracy: Ensure all required credentials, including O’Level results, are uploaded properly and promptly to avoid disqualification.
