JUST NOW: LEAD CITY UNIVERSITY, IBADAN (LCU) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
_Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan has officially commenced its admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session._
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the university’s various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Operating under the motto “Knowledge for Self-Reliance,” the institution offers over 200 accredited programmes across Engineering, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Education, Communication, Technology, and other disciplines.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & ENTRY PATHWAYS
UTME CANDIDATES
• Minimum UTME score of 160 and above
• At least five (5) relevant O’Level credits including English Language in not more than two sittings
Accepted O’Level results include:
• WAEC
• NECO
• NABTEB
• GCE O’Level or equivalent
Candidates who did NOT initially choose Lead City University in UTME are also eligible to apply.
DIRECT ENTRY (200 LEVEL ADMISSION)
Candidates without UTME can apply through Direct Entry using:
• GCE A’Level
• IJMB
• JUPEB
• NCE
• OND
• University Diploma or equivalent qualifications
PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMMES (IJMB/JUPEB)
Candidates who did not sit for UTME can apply for the university’s IJMB/JUPEB programmes.
No UTME score is required.
Upon successful completion, candidates can gain admission directly into 200 Level through Direct Entry.
Certificates are fully recognized by JAMB and accepted in Nigerian and foreign universities.
DEGREE CONVERSION PROGRAMMES
A specialized 2-Year Degree Conversion Programme is also available for holders of:
• HND
• ACA
• University Degrees
• Other equivalent qualifications
