The Management of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Oto/Ijanikin (with a vibrant conventional campus at Odo-Noforija, Epe), hereby announces the commencement of the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the 2026/2027 academic session screening, applicants must satisfy the following institutional requirements:

General O’Level Requirements

All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two (2) sittings from recognized examination bodies (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or GCE).

1. UTME Candidates

• Institution Choice: Must have selected LASUED as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.

• Minimum Score: A UTME score of 185 or above.

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age by October 1, 2026.

• Prerequisites: Must meet the specific subject combinations required for their chosen course as outlined in the JAMB Brochure.

• Credentials: Must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before July 17, 2026.

2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

• Institution Choice: Must have selected LASUED as their First Choice during the 2026 DE registration.

• Qualifications: Must possess a recognized and acceptable qualification such as NCE, ND, or an approved Diploma.

• Verification: Must complete the online screening process and submit hard copies of their screening reports and academic credentials directly to the LASUED Admission Office for verification.
