The Management of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku (DSPG), hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its comprehensive array of National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes under both the Regular I and Regular II streams, as well as specialized Certificate Courses for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

ENTRY AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
ND Regular I
-
Academic Requirements: Minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO), GCE, or NABTEB in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

UTME Merit Threshold: Candidates must have sat for the 2026 UTME and scored 100 and above.

JAMB Policy Compliance:

Candidates who chose DSPG as their first or second choice are eligible.
-
Candidates who did not initially choose DSPG but scored 100+ can apply, but must execute a Change of Institution to Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku via the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

If your desired course differs from your initial UTME choice, a Change of Course on JAMB CAPS must be finalized prior to submission.

ND Regular II
-
Minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO), GCE, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings.
HND Regular I

Prerequisite Degree: National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline from an NBTE-accredited institution.

Industrial Training (IT): A minimum of one (1) year post-ND Industrial Training experience. Candidates with an ND Pass grade may be considered but must present a minimum of two (2) years post-ND IT experience.

O’Level Standard: At least five (5) O’ Level credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) at not more than two (2) sittings.

JAMB Validation: Candidates must have a verifiable JAMB admission history for their ND program.
HND Regular II

Must possess an ND framework from a recognized, accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.

Must possess five (5) O’ Level credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) at not more than two (2) sittings.

Must possess a minimum of one (1) year post-ND Industrial Training experience.
IMPORTANT REGULATORY NOTE: Candidates who fail to comply with explicit eligibility and JAMB profile regularizations will have their applications discarded automatically.

SCREENING PROTOCOLS & MANDATORY VERIFICATION

Computer-Based Test (CBT): All prospective candidates will undergo a mandatory digital CBT screening exercise.

Credential Verification: Physical screening of O’Level/ND certificates, IT letters, and registration printouts will be stringently conducted.

Anti-Fraud Policy: Any candidate who inputs falsified or inaccurate data will face immediate, automatic disqualification. Successful short-listed candidates will be required to present all original credentials at the Admissions Office upon request.
