The Management of the Kwara State University of Education (KWASUED) hereby announces the release of its official admission guidelines, eligibility requirements, and screening registration schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session.
As a newly established, specialized institution, KWASUED invites suitably qualified Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates to apply for admission into our premier, education-focused undergraduate degree programmes. Our curriculum is strategically designed to produce highly skilled educators, innovators, and industry professionals capable of driving national development.
1. General Eligibility Requirements
A. UTME Candidates
To be eligible for the screening exercise, UTME applicants must:

Achieve a minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME.

Possess the required O’Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course of study.

Select KWASUED as their institution of choice through JAMB.

Note: Candidates who did not initially choose KWASUED must visit an accredited JAMB CBT Centre to effect a Change of Institution and ensure their O’Level results are successfully uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal.
B. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
Direct Entry applicants are eligible for admission provided they possess any of the following qualifications recognized by JAMB:

NCE, OND, or HND

JUPEB or IJMB

A’Level certificates or equivalent professional qualifications.
