JUST NOW: IMO STATE UNIVERSITY (IMSU), OWERRI RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING FORM
This is to inform the general public that Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri has officially commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise.
The registration exercise begins on Monday, 25th May 2026 and ends on 25th June, 2026.
APPLICATION PERIOD
• Opening Date: 25th May, 2026
• Closing Date: 25th June, 2026
CUT-OFF MARK
• Minimum JAMB Score: 160 and above
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as their First Choice Institution and scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME
Candidates who did not initially choose IMSU but scored the required cut-off mark can also apply after processing Change of Institution to IMSU at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre before the closing date
Direct Entry candidates must possess any of the following in relevant disciplines:
• OND
• HND
• First Degree
• A’ Level or equivalent qualifications
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS
• Candidates awaiting O’Level results are advised to upload them to JAMB immediately after release
• Candidates who fail to upload their results to JAMB will NOT be considered for admission
• Registration may take 24–48 hours to reflect after payment
• The date and time for the Aptitude Test/Post-UTME Examination will be communicated to candidates in due course
