The 2026 Bar Part I Programme is scheduled to commence on Monday, 27 July 2026, at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & RESTRICTIONS
The Bar Part I Programme is strictly reserved for Nigerian graduates holding Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degrees from institutions located in Common Law jurisdictions, provided such degrees are officially approved and recognized by the Council of Legal Education.
Strict Exclusions:
In accordance with standing institutional policies, law degrees obtained through the following modes of study are strictly unacceptable for admission into the Nigerian Law School:

STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION METHODOLOGY
Prospective applicants must meticulously execute their registration through the approved electronic channels:
Step 1: Portal Registration
Visit the official Nigerian Law School website to complete the online application form. Ensure that your application number is generated and safely archived, as it will be required for subsequent admission status verifications.
Step 2: Form Submission
Download and complete the online application. The finalized form must be transmitted via email to barpartone2026@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng no later than Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
Step 3: Academic Transcripts and Supporting References
Applicants must ensure that their official academic transcripts, along with fully completed Forms B, B1, and B2, are dispatched directly to the Nigerian Law School.

These documents must be transmitted exclusively from the official institutional email addresses of the applicant’s graduating university and employer (where applicable).
