The Management of the Kwara State College of Nursing Sciences, Oke-Ode (KWCONOO), hereby formally notifies the general public and prospective nursing students that the institution has officially opened the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme.
This directive follows the resolutions of the College Management Committee meeting held on Monday, 27th April, 2026, where the executive approval was granted to begin the recruitment of suitably qualified candidates for the upcoming academic session.
ADMISSION TIMELINE AND ACCESS
In accordance with the official administrative release, the online application portal has been activated as of Monday, 4th May, 2026. Prospective candidates are invited to initiate their applications immediately to ensure timely processing.
PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY
To maintain the high clinical and academic standards of the nursing profession, applicants must satisfy the following mandatory criteria:
1. Academic Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in the following subjects:

English Language

Mathematics

Chemistry

Physics
-
Biology
These credits must be obtained in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)at not more than two (2) sittings.
2. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):

Applicants must have sat for the 2026 JAMB UTME.

The minimum required JAMB Cut-off Mark for eligibility is 180.
