Admission Requirements
For Degree Programmes:

Direct Entry: Candidates must possess a good NCE or Diploma in a relevant field (Distinction, Upper, or Lower Credit) from a programme of at least two years’ duration, plus five (5) O’Level credits.

Standard Entry: Candidates with five (5) O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English) may be admitted to begin from Contact One.
For PGDE & PGDTE Programmes:

PGDE: A Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

PGDTE: A Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Science, Technology, or Business Education.
Method of Application
Applicants may apply through the following channels:

Online: Visit the University Portal to purchase and complete the application.

Degree Form Fee: N10,000.00

PGDE/PGDTE Form Fee: N25,000.00

In-Person: Visit the Institute of Education, Main Campus, Bauchi Road, to obtain and complete the forms (includes a mandatory N2,500.00 processing fee).
Submission Deadline: All credentials must be submitted to the Institute of Education on or before May 30, 2026.
