Thinking of joining the KWASU Malete gang this year? Well, sharpen your pencils (or more like your mouse) because KWASU has officially opened its Pre-Admission Screening Portal for 2025/2026 UTME and DE candidates!
Let’s break it down like pepper soup on a Sunday afternoon:
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
Group 1: UTME Candidates
You must have picked KWASU as First Choice during JAMB
Scored 160 or above in your 2025 UTME
You’re ready to level up academically!
Group 2: “Now I Want KWASU” Candidates
Didn’t pick KWASU before but your spirit says “Malete or nothing?”
Do a JAMB change of institution to KWASU first
Then proceed with the KWASU screening registration
📚 O’Level Requirements
Minimum five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects
You can combine 2 sittings (e.g., WAEC + NECO), except for Medicine & Surgery applicants — one sitting only, abeg!
Subject Match Matters! Make sure your subject combo matches your course.
– Science courses? Think: Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
– Arts/Social Sciences? Think: English, Literature, CRS, Government, etc.
WAITING FOR WAEC/NECO RESULTS?
No wahala. You can apply ,just make sure your result lands before KWASU wraps up admission. They won’t wait forever.
📅 IMPORTANT DATES
Deadline isn’t officially fixed yet o, but don’t wait till the portal shouts “error 404.” Try to register within 2 weeks of portal opening.

✅ Medicine requires all 5 credits in one sitting
✅ Mistakes in your application = small wahala (so be careful!)
