GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION
Applicants seeking admission into undergraduate programmes at MLU must satisfy the following conditions:
Attain the minimum cut-off mark set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the current academic year.
Possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, NABTEB, or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Provide a valid JAMB slip indicating the intended course of study and appropriate subject combinations.
Candidates who did not initially select MLU as their first choice of institution in the current UTME are eligible to apply.
Complete and submit the online application form via the University’s official website: www.mlugalilee.edu.ng.
Pay the prescribed application fee into the designated University account immediately after submitting the application form.
Participate in the online post-UTME screening exercise, which will be conducted for all applicants who meet the above requirements.
Successfully admitted candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee within one (1) week of receiving the admission offer to secure their admission slot.
DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION
Candidates applying for Direct Entry must meet the following criteria:
Possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes (WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, NABTEB, or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form using A-level qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB, BSc, OND, HND, or NCE. Admission into departments will be based on the aggregate score reflected on the JAMB Direct Entry form.
