The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) wishes to inform all candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise that the Provisional Admission List of successful candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session has been officially uploaded to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
All prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates are advised to log into their JAMB profiles immediately to confirm their admission status.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Candidates can verify their admission status by taking the following steps:

Access Portal: Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal (
efacility.jamb.gov.ng). -
Log In: Enter the registered Email Address and Password linked to your JAMB profile.

Navigate: Click on “Check Admission Status”.

Open CAPS: Select “Access my CAPS” from the options.

View Status: Click on “Admission Status” on the left menu tab to display your application progress.
Important Guidelines & Next Steps for Candidates

Accepted Offers: Candidates who have been offered provisional admission should promptly click “ACCEPT” on JAMB CAPS. After accepting, proceed to print your official JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip for post-admission screening and clearance.

Alternative SMS Acceptance: Candidates can also respond to their admission offer directly via SMS by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered to their JAMB profile.

Pending Status: If your status displays “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted,” do not panic.Admission lists are released incrementally in multiple batches. Continue checking your CAPS dashboard regularly.

O’Level Result Upload: Ensure that your O’Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) results have been correctly uploaded to your JAMB profile. Admission cannot be processed without verified O’Level credentials.
