The online registration portal opens on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, and will officially close at midnight on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Candidates who selected AKUM as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, along with qualified Direct Entry applicants, are encouraged to complete their application early to ensure a seamless process.

Access the Portal: Visit students.akum.edu.ng and select Application Portal.

Log In: Enter your JAMB Registration Number as your username and any of your official names as your initial password.

Update Profile: Carefully fill out your biographical and academic details.

Make Payment: Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 through the secure portal interface.

Print Slip: Generate and print your official acknowledgment slip immediately following successful payment.
Essential Checklist for Applicants

Dual O’Level Upload: You must upload your O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS) to both the JAMB CAPS portal and the AKUM screening portal. Admissions cannot be processed without both uploads complete.

Direct Entry Verification: DE applicants must upload both O’Level and A’Level credentials. Please note that DE candidates will undergo compulsory physical verification of original certificates before admission offers are finalized.
