FUHSA Postpones 2026/2027 Undergrad Physical Screening Pending WAEC Results
The management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA) has officially announced the postponement of its physical admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This strategic decision was finalized by the University Senate during its 41st Regular Meeting on Tuesday, 13th July, 2026.
Reason for the Postponement
The university has rescheduled the physical exercise pending the official release of the 2026 WAEC results. By adjusting the academic calendar, FUHSA aims to accommodate the high volume of candidates currently awaiting their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results, ensuring everyone receives an equal and fair opportunity to complete their screening.
Online Screening Remains Ongoing
While face-to-face screenings are temporarily on hold, the digital portal is fully operational.
-
Extended Window: The online screening portal will remain open until exactly one (1) week after the official release of the 2026 WAEC results.
-
Action Required: Awaiting-result candidates and fresh applicants should use this grace period to log in, complete their registrations, and upload all available academic credentials.
Next Steps for Candidates
A revised date for the physical screening will be published immediately after the online registration portal closes. All prospective students are strongly advised to execute the following steps:
-
Finalize Online Profiles: Complete your digital screening forms without delay.
-
Upload Credentials: Keep your academic profiles updated with accurate JAMB and O’Level details.
-
Monitor Official Channels: Frequently check the university’s official domain for the upcoming physical verification timetable.
⚠️ Official Management Disclaimer: The FUHSA management extends its sincere appreciation to all candidates, parents, and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during this adjustment. To safeguard your admission process, ensure you rely strictly on verified university media channels and completely ignore unverified information from unofficial third-party platforms.
