Critical Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the online screening, candidates must fulfill the following mandatory requirements:

JAMB Choice: UNN must be your first-choice institution.

UTME Performance: A minimum score of 160 in the 2026 UTME.

Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.

Name & Data Alignment: The names on your WAEC/NECO results must match your JAMB registration profile exactly.

O’Level Status: Results must be successfully uploaded to both JAMB CAPS and the UNN portal. Candidates awaiting Nov/Dec 2026 GCE results are explicitly not eligible.

Direct Entry (DE) Note: DE applicants must register for the screening and ensure their A’Level results are verified via NIPEDS.
Step-by-Step Application Guide

Access the Portal: Head over to the official website at unn.edu.ng and click UNN Portal at the top right.

Generate Invoice: Select Prospective Students, click on the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise, and enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Remita invoice.

Complete Payment: Pay online via ATM card or walk into any commercial bank with your invoice.

Data Input: Return to the portal, log in with your JAMB number, and carefully fill in your biodata and verified O’Level grades.

Document Upload: Upload clear scans of the required documents (Ensure no single file exceeds 100KB).

Submit: Review all inputs—especially your date of birth, which cannot be changed later—and submit to print your Acknowledgement Slip.
Document Checklist (<100KB each): Birth Certificate, Local Government Identification, School Testimonial, First School Leaving Certificate, JAMB Result Slip, and O’Level Result Sheet(s).
