2026/2027 Post-UTME & Direct Entry (D.E.) Screening Exercise
This is to inform all 2026 UTME and Direct Entry (D.E.) candidates who chose Yobe State University as their first choice and met the required minimum score for their chosen courses that the online screening exercise will run from Wednesday, 8th July to Saturday, 1st August 2026.
Faculty/Departmental Cut-Off Marks
Candidates are advised to review the specific minimum UTME cut-off marks for their respective programs below:

Step-by-Step Application Procedure

Generate RRR: Visit any internet café or use a personal device to generate a REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.

Make Payment: Pay the non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only through any REMITA payment channel and print out your payment slip.

Online Registration: Visit the official YSU screening portal at https://ysu.edu.ng/putme to complete the application form.

Document Upload: Scan and upload all necessary credentials to your portal profile to validate your screening application.
Required Documents for Upload
Candidates must ensure clear, scanned copies of the following documents are uploaded during registration:

Original 2026 UTME Result Slip or Direct Entry (D.E.) Slip.

Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB—obtained in not more than two sittings).

Higher Qualification Result (ND, HND, NCE, or IJMB) — For Direct Entry candidates only.

Primary School Leaving Certificate.

Local Government Indigene Certificate.

Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
