• Strict compliance with these dates is mandatory; the portal will automatically deactivate at the deadline.

Strict Eligibility Benchmarks

To qualify for the screening process, prospective scholars must satisfy the following institutional criteria:

1. Institutional Choice: Candidates must have selected Federal University Dutse as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.

2. Academic Performance (UTME): Applicants must have attained the minimum approved institutional and departmental cut-off scores for their respective programs.

3. Direct Entry (DE) Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of Lower Credit at the National Diploma (ND) level, or a minimum of 8 points in NCE/IJMB or recognized equivalent qualifications.

4. O’Level Prerequisites: A minimum of five (5) credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

5. Mandatory Compliance: Participation in this online screening exercise is a compulsory prerequisite for provisional admission consideration.

• Screening Fee: Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000.00) only (exclusive of standard bank processing metrics).

• Step 1: Portal Access – Navigate to the official screening gateway: https://www.putme.fud.edu.ng

• Step 2: Authentication – Securely log in using your valid JAMB UTME/DE Registration Number as the username and your State of Origin as the password.

• Step 3: Profile Configuration – Update vital bio-data fields, ensuring absolute accuracy with your Date of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number, State, and Local Government Area.

• Step 4: Invoice Generation – Generate the official payment invoice containing your unique Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.

• Step 5: Settlement of Fees – Complete the ₦3,000.00 payment via any commercial bank nationwide (including FUD Microfinance Bank) or through the secure online payment gateway.

• Step 6: Document Upload – Return to the portal to fill out the screening form and upload authentic digital copies of:

  • O’Level Results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent – maximum of 2 sittings).

  • A’Level / IJMB / NCE / ND Statement of Results (For Direct Entry applicants).

  • Official 2026 JAMB Result Slip.

  • A recent, clear passport photograph.

• Step 7: Final Verification & Submission – Thoroughly review all submitted data fields to eliminate discrepancies, execute the final submission, and immediately print out your Online Screening Acknowledgement Slip.

• JAMB CAPS Requirements: All applicants are under strict directive to upload their verified O’Level results directly onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal to facilitate admission processing.

• Compulsory Printouts: Candidates must securely archive the following physical documents for verification:

  1. Evidence of Remita Payment Receipt

  2. Printed Online Screening Acknowledgement Slip

  3. JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration Slips
