Notice of Undergraduate Pre-Admission Registration and Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 Academic Session
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Online registration begins immediately, and all prospective applicants are advised to complete their profile creation and screening data submission before the stated deadline.
1. Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the 2026/2027 screening exercise, candidates must meet the following baseline institutional requirements:
UTME Candidates: Must have chosen Kwara State University as their first choice institution and scored a minimum of 160 and above in the 2026 UTME.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must possess valid Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), IJMB, Cambridge, or alternative advanced level certifications recognized by the university senate, alongside a valid first-choice selection of KWASU in the 2026 JAMB DE registration.
O’Level Requirements: All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Important Dates and Information
CRITICAL DEADLINE:The online registration portal will officially close on Friday, 10th July 2026. Late registrations will not be entertained, and candidates who fail to participate in this online screening will forfeit their consideration for admission.
Candidates are strongly advised to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded properly onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal to avoid any delays or issues with final admission approval.
