JUST IN: COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, LAFIA RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
To All Prospective Applicants and the General Public:
The Management of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia (COALAFIA), Nasarawa State, wishes to notify the general public and prospective applicants that the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening form for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is now officially on sale.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various National Diploma (ND) and other available programmes offered by the College for the current academic year.
Eligibility and Admission Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Choice of Institution: Candidates must have chosen the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia as their First Choice institution during the 2026 UTME registration.
Note: Candidates who did not initially choose the College but meet the minimum cut-off mark and wish to study here must proceed to the JAMB portal to do a “Change of Institution” and make COALAFIA their first choice.
O’Level Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
Subject Combination: Candidates must have the correct JAMB subject combinations for their proposed courses of study in the fields of Agriculture, Science, or Technology.
Screening Fee: Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee
Form Completion: After successful payment, return to the portal to complete the online application form. Ensure all biodata and academic details are inputted correctly.
Submission: Submit the completed form and print out the application acknowledgment slip, which will be required during the physical screening exercise.
Important Notice to All Applicants
JAMB CAPS: All applicants must visit a JAMB accredited CBT centre to upload their O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) on their JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal. Admission cannot be processed for candidates who fail to upload their results.
Accuracy of Information: Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate. Any discrepancy in names, grades, or JAMB numbers will lead to automatic disqualification.
