JUST IN: UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI (UNIMAID) RELEASES ADMISSION CUT-OFF MARKS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially released the approved departmental and institutional cut-off marks for admission into various undergraduate programs for the 2026/2027 academic session.
All prospective candidates who chose UNIMAID as their first choice institution in the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are advised to carefully review the baseline marks required for their selected courses before proceeding with the online screening portal.
UNIMAID General Eligibility Baseline
While specific competitive courses maintain higher demands, the minimum eligibility standards for the screening exercise are outlined below:
General Institutional Cut-Off Mark: A minimum UTME score of 140 to 150(depending on the faculty).
O’Level Requirements: Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits* in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
JAMB CAPS: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are fully uploaded onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal to remain eligible
