The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Calabar, hereby announces the commencement of the online screening registration for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The registration portal officially opened on Thursday, 21st May, 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their applications early to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.

1. UTME Candidates
To qualify for the screening exercise, applicants must:

2. Change of Institution Candidates
Candidates who did not originally select UNICROSS as their first choice can still apply, provided they:

Log into the JAMB portal to effect an official Change of Institution, selecting UNICROSS as their First Choice.
3. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE FOR UNICROSS POST-UTME REGISTRATION
The university has outlined detailed steps candidates should follow to successfully complete the online screening registration.
STEP 1: VISIT THE OFFICIAL SCREENING PORTAL
Applicants are to begin by visiting the official UNICROSS admission screening portal through the university’s online application platform.
After accessing the portal, candidates should navigate to the section designated for new applicants.
STEP 2: GENERATE E-PIN USING JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER
Candidates are required to enter their JAMB Registration Number in the provided field and proceed to generate an E-PIN for payment.
At this stage, applicants are advised to carefully verify their personal details displayed on the screen before proceeding further.
Candidates are also expected to update their:
- Active email address
- Functional mobile phone number
Providing accurate information is very important because future communication regarding the admission process may depend on it.
STEP 3: MAKE PAYMENT FOR SCREENING FORM
After confirming their details, applicants should proceed to make payment for the screening form.
The institution stated that candidates can pay the ₦2,000 screening fee using several payment methods, including:
- ATM Card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve)
- Bank Transfer
- USSD Payment Option
The university explained that once payment is successfully completed, a unique E-PIN will automatically be generated for the candidate.
Applicants are advised to save or print the E-PIN carefully, as it will be required for subsequent login and completion of the application form.
STEP 4: COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
After obtaining the E-PIN, candidates should return to the application portal and log in through the “Already Have an E-PIN?” section.
