Admissions Update: UNIBEN JUPEB Application Portal (2026/2027)

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is officially inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Foundation Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The JUPEB programme leads to the award of the JUPEB Certificate, which enables successful candidates to gain Direct Entry (200 Level) admission into University of Benin and other participating Universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Application Details

  • Application Period: Open now.

  • Eligibility: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at “O” Level (WAEC, NECO, or GCE) including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

  • Method of Application: All applications are to be completed online via the official University portal.
