Lagos State University (LASU) hereby invites candidates of Lagos State origin who selected the University as their First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to participate in the mandatory Indigeneship Verification Exercise.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this exercise, candidates must satisfy the following:

Origin: Must be a verified indigene of Lagos State.

UTME Score: A minimum score of 195 in the 2026 UTME.

Direct Entry: All Direct Entry applicants of Lagos State origin must also participate.
Key Dates & Schedule
The portal for online payment and registration officially opens on Monday, 27th April 2026, and will conclude on Friday, 22nd May 2026.

Payment: All payments must be made exclusively through the [Official LASU Payment Portal].

Revalidation: Applicants from the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 sessions who remain unadmitted are required to revalidate their certificates online via the portal with the applicable fee.

Verification Status: Please note that successful clearance by the IIVC is a prerequisite for admission consideration but does not constitute a guarantee of admission.
