The Management of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki (TOPS), Oyo State, is pleased to announce that applications are now officially open for admission into its full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This opportunity is extended to all suitably qualified candidates who have successfully completed their National Diploma (ND) from recognized and accredited polytechnics or equivalent institutions.
Admission into the HND programmes is highly competitive and strictly limited by available departmental slots, infrastructure capacity, and accreditation guidelines. Prospective applicants are strongly urged to submit their applications promptly through the official portal to secure consideration, as late or incomplete submissions may not be entertained.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for admission, candidates must:
- Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant ND programme from a recognized institution (candidates with Pass may be considered only in exceptional cases with relevant post-ND industrial experience as stipulated by NBTE guidelines).
- Have completed the mandatory one-year Industrial Training (IT) or SIWES programme.
- Meet specific departmental entry requirements, including credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (WAEC/NECO/GCE) as detailed in the JAMB brochure or institutional guidelines.
- Provide evidence of academic competence, good character, and any additional prerequisites specified by the respective department or school.

Programmes are offered across five dynamic schools, each designed to deliver industry-relevant, practical-oriented training aligned with national development priorities, particularly in agriculture, engineering, environmental management, financial services, and applied sciences.
A. School of Financial Management Studies
- Accountancy — Advanced financial reporting, auditing, taxation, forensic accounting, and strategic financial management.
- Banking and Finance — Corporate banking, investment analysis, risk management, fintech innovations, and financial markets.
- Insurance — Underwriting principles, claims management, actuarial science basics, and insurance brokerage.
B. School of Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering (Farm Power and Machinery Option) — Farm mechanization, tractor systems, equipment design, and maintenance engineering.
- Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Option) — Irrigation engineering, drainage systems, soil conservation, and watershed management.
- Agricultural Engineering (Post-Harvest Option) — Crop harvesting technologies, storage systems, processing machinery, and food loss reduction strategies.
- Civil Engineering — Structural design, highway and transportation engineering, water resources, and construction management.
- Mechanical Engineering — Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, manufacturing processes, and industrial automation.
C. School of Agriculture

D. School of Science

Applications are strictly online via the official institutional portal at https://portal.tops.edu.ng. The portal opened on Monday, 16th March 2026, and candidates are advised to apply immediately to avoid network congestion or deadline pressures.

- Visit the portal and select the HND Full-Time Application module.
- Complete the online registration form accurately.
- Make the required non-refundable application fee payment online (via card or other approved channels).
- Upload scanned copies of credentials (ND certificate/result, IT letter, O’Level results, birth certificate, etc.).
